My rezound has been routinely downloading firmware for the new OTA for days now, with nothing updating. It's also been freezing periodically so I was thinking the OTA had something to do with it. So while near a verizon store, the firmware again began downloading, then nothing again. Went to the store, lady did a hard factory reset...and she said after the reset would already be running the new software. Well, I left the store...then the firmware began downloading again. This time it took about an hour to download...then towards completion, it failed...again. arghh. The status states "failed" and now when I click check new it says no new updates. The lady said bring it back tmw and exchange it for a "like-new" rezound....do you think its worth a bother in exchanging for a refurbished phone? or just say f the update, and deal with the random freezing.

I'm also p'd about all my settings cleared off the phone :/ so before I make everything the way I want it, idk whether I should head to the store tmw for an exchange. Im hesitant of getting a worse off rezound really.

Also, I thought I could retrieve all of the apps I downloaded through the market after signing in gmail...but I cant find anything! ://

Also also, does anyone have the transparent pandora unlimited apk link? I'd really appreciate it!

You have to get the update situation dealt with period! Just for the heck of it go into the software update and instead of opening check new open status and see what the date of the update and see if it is successful. If all is well there back out of software update slowly and see if the install screen pops up. I have done a dozen of the rezound updates and 3 of them acted like yours and I did this for some reason it worked. If it doesn't get the replacement.

As far as the transparent pandora unlimited apk. You can't get it now because of all the megaupload crap. Scaring all the devs that put these apk's out. I have it by chance. I will pm you with it later.

hey man thanks for the advice I finally got it to install successfully! miraclee, lol. It froze while the download was prompted again, so I just rebooted it, and then it downloaded it while off, and voila. Just hope the freezing is no longer an issue..and for the pandora apk, thats a real bummerrrrr...being transparent and all.. if ya find any news thatd be awesome deff pm me!
