I am running a Twilight v.something EC05 kernel and SyndicateROM 1.2 on my Epic. I rooted and installed this stuff with clockworkmod 3.1.0.1
Recently I started having some serious 'force close' issues, and I decided to try to use CWM and the nandroid back-up I took after root to the phone, to restore back to what's a rooted Samsung EC05 kernel.
However, when I restore, after rebooting, the phone simply hangs on the Samsung splash screen. I tried several times, clearing the data and cache dirs...I could only get my phone working again by going back to the sr1.2 and Twilight kernel. Has anyone had this issue?
Do I need to use 'Odin' instead of (or with?) Clockworkmod?
The second question is, if you were selling the phone...would you sell it as rooted? Or simply install stock EC05 and not root, though I'm unsure how to remove the Clockworkmod stuff. Thx
