Hola.

[The Big]

Crossing my fingers this makes that big ass banner disappear.

New to Android (9yr former Palm user here), skimming the forums here to see what kind of cool stuff turns up.

Hi and welcome to Android Forums!

Haha!...your banner should be gone now

This place is filled with all kinds of "I didn't know you could do that" tidbits of information. Hopefully you will enjoy it here as much as I do.

What Android device do you have?

Again, welcome!

Thanks for the warm welcome. AF seems so far like a terrific resource--loads of information, lots of activity... looking forward to really diving in, and hopefully having something to contribute before long.

I just picked up an Evo two days ago, and am a virgin Android user. Long-time Palm junkie (several PDAs since the Palm V, Treo since the 650.) I love the iPhone, but AT&T just makes me itch, and Apple's police-state approach to their devices doesn't sit well with me... so I've been looking forward to Android for some time. So far, I'm LOVING it, and its shortcomings are bearable--I'm quite eager to see the Froyo update. Now if the Evo's battery would just work with me a bit!
