before you start making a rom you should see all the people what they want on a rom
Aren't you a triumph dev? Thank you for all your work on that phone and welcome to the world of the evo 3d!![]()
IT LIKE ELVIS JUST ENTERED THE BUILDING!!!
good to see you over here, your the only reson i kept my triumph as long as i did. my buddy still makes me check the triumph fourms eveyday for a update from you and your team....
whats the first thing your gonna do??
The plan is to run stock for a while and get a feeling for the phone, and then install Mobster's ROM. After that will see where I am at with time and such as I maybe getting involved with some app development possibly. However I have been thinking of CM9 and or checking the stable branch of CM10. I know when using CM10 for the Triumph there was a lot issues with the code as it's still in development. The nice thing about CM9 is it's stable so there is less issues with the code. I also already spoke with agrabren over at XDA and he has all the device files CM10, PA, and AOKP so will see.
CM9 production just kinda halted about 2 months ago. Honestly, CM10 is so stable, I think if you want to jump into AOSP I'd just do it with something JB.

I tried so hard to last at least a week on stock. I lasted 4 days. My first HTC/Sense phone and it was quite pleasurable...until we figured out we can downgrade our hboot and flash AOSP ROMs.
Say g60, you any good with MMS?

Hey g60! Your timing is terrible.. Right when you get into beast mode with the Triumph I moved to the Evo V and now that I just sold my Evo V for a Nexus 4 you switch to the Evo V. Any Nexus plans in your future? lol
As for the Evo V 4G there are some problems if you want to dive in.
1. MMS will not work with anything other than a Sense 3.6 build. No AOSP ROM has got it to function right. There is an MMS apk that allows for receiving MMS, but not sending.
2. CM 10 is moving on to CM 10.1 (JB 4.2) so CM 10.0 (JB 4.1) should be stable to get working on this phone.
You'll love this phone and I agree Mobster ROM is amazing. I was running it before I moved to the Nexus 4. If you two teamed up on something i'm pretty sure this phone will be set ha.
