Help Holding the power button accidently switches phone off.

Hi everyone,

Got the Galaxy S2 and it's a pretty amazing phone.

Has anyone noticed that holding the power button down for sometime actually turns the phone off? like its meant to (I guess) but even when the screen is locked?

I've managed to do this accidently a few times while the phone has been in my pocket quite annoying. Is this normal.

Still love the phone though!:D

Wow I didn't know it does that. After holding a few seconds, the power menu comes up, but hold it past that, and it just shuts off.

What's important is that it just shuts off like a battery pull, not a proper shutdown. Might want to be a little more careful with that power button :p

Samsung is giving us a way to force the phone to shut down in case the software freezes up. In this case the shut down option would not pop up and you would HAVE to pull the battery. Instead you can push and hold the power button.;)

I really hate taking the back off of my SG2. Just the sound of the tabs popping out of the back is too much to bear often!:(
