Holla if you love 2.1!!

The only problem I've had is the silent call bug. Which has only happened once. Otherwise, its been a pleasant expierience for me.

Count me in. Less lag makes everything better. Before the dialer app was infuriating, now usable. I can now get the good apps and features. Only a couple problems; Google voice fced but a reboot fixed it.

So I've seen a lot of complaints about 2.1. Many people even deliberately trading in their phones to go back to 1.5, or trying to avoid the update altogether. I realize the majority of voices in any forum are usually those that have issues. After all, if you're not having issues, why say anything. But those of us who have and love 2.1 should speak up about it, and maybe we'll give hope to those that have yet to get the update or those that are thinking about buying the Eris and may be scared away due to all the negative press on 2.1.

I personally have noticed nothing but improvements since going 2.1. My phone is faster, more stable, and I love all the new features and interface tweaks. The new market is great and I love the fact that I can install apps that were previously unavailable to Eris users..

MY PHONE TOTALLY ROCKS NOW. I absolutely love it. Any little bugs have been worked out and I can do so much more now and faster. I was in love with it before, now I'm head over heels!

I'm on the leak, so I've had 2.1 for quite some time now. I have to say that my phone does more than I ever imagined possible. I hear people on this forum complaining about how "slow" their eris is and about the lag. Maybe I'm just old, but I can't help thinking that these little phones have computers in them that are more powerful than the ones that guided our astronauts to and from the moon. Think about that. And this is a phone.

Yes, had to do a factory reset. Now life is grand ! No more incredible-envy and the Eris will get me through until 4g arrives !

I see several people suggesting a factory reset. Wouldn't that require reinstalling all my apps, one at a time? I guess I'll have to make the time to do it.

i think the market automatically saves purchased apps. and free apps you can backup with mybackup pro- free for 30 days

Did the factory reset, as a few people have suggested.
