Root holo locker help please?

optimus elite rooted and running sleipnir 2.4.0.2

so i installed holo locker and i love it... but occasionally the default locker will pop up and i have to shut the screen off and wait about 5 seconds before the holo locker comes up...

does anyone know how to get rid of the default locker? i'm pretty good finding files with total commander so if someone could just tell me what file to look for to delete that would be awesome.

Press the home button. The option will pop up to pick the launcher you want to use. If you notice, at the bottom of that pop up, it will give you the choice to pick the default launcher by adding a check to a small white box.

Pick that option to put a check mark in the box and then pick the launcher you want to use.

This will use the launcher you selected after checking that box by default. If you add another launcher later on, the pop up box will appear again.

If you want to change launchers after picking the default, just go to the app settings and clear the default on the launcher and it will give you the pop up again to let you pick.

thanks for your reply... but i'm referring to the locker... not the launcher... i'm using the launcher successfully! but the lockerr (unlock screen) is the problem i'm having.

Open the app from your app drawer, toggle the use/activate holo locker button (I forget the exact verbiage) but that should make it pretty consistent.

Holo Locker has problems like this in general that come up from time to time - it's not specific to the phone or the ROM, it just is. However, there should be an option to set Holo Locker itself as the default "launcher," and you'll want to disable any extra security on the stock locker too - as in, leave it only on the basic slide-to-unlock setting. All of that, and a 245MHz or 3xxMHz minimum clock speed for your CPU should solve most of the problems with Holo Locker - but that weirdness will still come up sometimes, though very infrequently at that point. Also, see the post above me by starkraving.

thanks! i have the enable holo checked off as well as enable lock.

under settings>location and security>set up screen lock...

it gives you the option to set up a lock... pattern. pin etc. however when i press the option to set up a lock it just takes me back to the previous screen...

like i said... the only time i really see the default lock is if i tap the power button again within 4 or 5 seconds of powering off. otherwise... it doesn't seem to be a problem.
