Holsters for Note 3

After following up on the information that Simon provided, I received this reply from Vega Holsters (vega-holsters.com):

It will likely fit with a case but it's pretty snug. I'm going to try to do that picture later today. Lovely new-leather smell. (That's the shoulder holster, not the phone. No leather on this phone.)

I realise I've actually been using these holsters for about 18 years.

please post and holding either note 2 or note 3 in a specific case. i use a seidio active

Literally just got home from my open house and to my surprise I found that my vertical pouch has arrived! Sure, I don't have my n3 yet, but my n2 fits in it beautifully. Just another piece in the anticipation puzzle.

Great pictures. The workmanship on that holster looks to first-rate. If it fits an N3 with a simple TPU or Spigen Neo Hybrid case I'll have to have one. Although I would almost always wear it on my hip, I may just have to spend the little extra to have the option of either the shoulder or hip!
 
I certainly never use a belt clip. For me, it's far too risky. That sucker will get banged in week one and it will also be inconvenient much of the time, what with all the places my body gets to taking pictures. Not even convenient in a car for me.

How cool is this phone? I'm fixing a friend's car in the pouring rain. Note 3 is snug in its shoulder holster and it rings. I tell it to answer the call and we have a conversation in a deluge with the phone still safe and dry.

Don't try this at home.

Hey "the_chief" That's a good looking case... do you know if the note 3 with lets say a neo hybrid shell on it would fit in this case?
 
Hi Alex!

I'm not sure of the heft of the case you're talking about, but the Note 3 with S-view cover fits fine with some room to spare front to back. A Note 3 with a case would be a tight fit, but it may very well work :)

Only one way to find out!

I'm going to be finding out. If it doesn't, I'll be getting a slightly larger holster. But I anticipate it will fit. (I have a UAG on order.)
 
How's about a simple belt holster...

I went with the Seidio Surface Case (with kickstand) and belt Holster combo.

:thumbdown: Note - Seidio's customer stinks big time, just get the product and hope you'll never have to deal with those ass-clowns. They said thet don't price match, so I email them a copy of their low price guarantee... "kcuf -em", I got the damn caes and hiolster.

I'm an on my belt guy. I have always added belt loops to my leather belt holsters because they are much more secure.
I picked this up a couple weeks ago and the quality is very good. Yes it does work with a slim case (Neo Hybrid).
My only gripe is the magnet closure. I would have added two under the leather magnets instead of this powerful single magnet. The magnet is very strong, much stronger than is needed.

I've always used the seidio active cases with holster. I have the active case for my IPad and the active case with holster for my Galaxy Nexus. I ordered the Surface case combo as the active is "coming soon".. I've had good luck with Seidio, but never had to deal with their service. Had a clip break previously, but it was out of warranty. Seidio does make a quality product, been happy with the performance, fit and finish. They're a bit high in price, but like everything you get what you pay for.........

THX for the link. I've got a nice vertical clip-on leather holster (for pocket or belt), yet, as some have stated,I don't feel a sense of security using it clipped on the belt.
