We have about 9 different 2.1 threads that are sitting on the first page of the forum here. If I might suggest, moderators, merge them all into one thread titled 2.1 problems and issues. Too much flood, the answers are being washed away.
 
I, for my part, don't mind the multitude of threads, since in an ideal world (LOL) each thread would be on a particular issue, and the responses to that issue are quickly read through and the issue is (hopefully) resolved. However, in a single "all 2.1 issues" thread, it'll eventually (quickly?) get to be 25 pages long, and no one (not me, anyway) will want to wade through all of that just to find if their own particular problem has been addressed yet, or resolved.

Just my $1/50. :)

The point is to document the actual problems with the release. If there are fixes they will be posted in the original post.

I actually agree! :D

Those threads may have a common denominator(2.1), but all are asking different questions and content. I don't like clutter either, but the threads are better separate for the time being so as to make finding particular issues easier.

That was my point...that individual threads are easier to quickly recognize, by glancing at the title, as each being on a single individual issue, without having to read through hundreds of posts in a general "2.1 issues" thread to get the same degree of handle on the situation. If I only want to read about a Gmail Sync issue (because I'm having the same problem), then I'd much rather see a thread on that single issue than a general "2.1 issues" thread. My time is tight, and I don't have the luxury of being able to read pages and pages of stuff I'm not interested in at the moment just to try and find some mention of my particular problem. That's all. ;)

You are missing the point of my reply to you.

All of the issues will be in the first post, with fixes in the first post. You don't have to scroll anything.

Smell what i'm stepping in?
