Home button issues...

Big Boi

Newbie
I've started to notice that my home button is making a clicking noise when pressed. Anyone else experience this? Can it be fixed?

Mine has also started to do this so I called customer service and they are going to send me a new phone but they said that the white note 2s are backordered

This would typically indicate something (normally something sticky) got in or around the button. Most likely something was on your thumb when you pressed the home button and it transferred. Trying to prevent this from happening, the best practice is not to eat or drink anything while using your device. I have seen this happen many times on a computer keyboard caused by what I described above.

When you say a clicking noise how loud mine as always made a very faint click sound from day one

Iys gotta be dirt/dust. I work in a dusty shop with a lot of sawdust. I do a lot of sanding at work. And my phone is always near me on the workbench. Ill use some compressed air and blow the dust out. Thanks guys. I may start putting my phone in a ziploc bag or something to keep the dust and anything else off it.
