home button opens task manager no matter what

I just got the Samsung galaxy s4 in January and I'm already having problems. When I click the home button (not hold but click) task manager comes up. A quick tap should not bring up task manager. How do I fix this?? It's really annoying. I'm debating taking it back to get the iPhone because I never had problems like this with my iPhone 4.

You should be able to change the settings of what presses do

Try opening SVoice

Then tap the menu button (left of center) and select settings.
un-check the open by double pressing
and then re-check it

or if it is already un-checked, do the on, then off again and exit and reboot the phone.

I had the same problem after upgrading from 4.3 Jelly bean to 4.4.2 kitkat. So I guess one solution would be flashing again 4.4.2 via odin. However luckily before doing that I read in a forum that the problem is caused from the samsung keybord. So I replaced the samsung keybord with the original Android Google keybord and the problem was solved! It may help you too, try it.
