Help Home button problem

Is anyone else having this problem with their physical home button? I recently noticed that when I press my home button now on the home screen that the apps menu doesn't open anymore. It still opens the recent apps window when I long hold it, it also still returns me to the home screen when pressed, and if I press it twice it still opens the voice command feature. But, it doesn't seem to open the apps menu anymore when I'm on my home screen. I've looked through every setting I could find, but still can't figure it out. Never had this problem on my Droid 1. Any ideas what's wrong? Or, should I just try a factory reset?

The home key never opened the menu. It's the menu key, which is next to the home key (on the left) that opens the menu. Pressing the home key opens your apps bin. Are you trying to say that pressing the home key doesn't take you to the apps bin?

Yeah, I meant the "apps bin" doesn't open anymore when I press the home key, and not the preference/settings menu.
