Home button scratch?

Hello everyone

I have a white Samsung Galaxy S3 and a few weeks ago I saw that I have scratched the home button. The scratch looks like a tiny black line through the middle of the button. I first though that it was just something dirty, but I was not able to clean it.

Could you please tell me how I could remove the scratch (or whatever it is).. or if any of you have had the same problem, please share.

I'm honestly not sure you can lose the scratch without it ruining the finish.

There probably isnt gorilla glass on the button so itl scratch easier. Id just live with it or you could put a Decalgirl type skin on it or be extreme n buy a new button lol

I do have white touch up automotive paint that could work too
