Hello

I am having an issue that whenver i press the home button it goes to the task manager. is there any way i can fix this issue?

any guidance / advise will be most welcome.

Don't press it so long?

Honestly I'm not kidding. If that doesn't work have you tried restarting it by turning the power off then on. Otherwise a factory reset which is a bit more dramatic as you will loose your home screen settings.

you're probably holding it for too long try to press it lightly if that doesn't work try to reboot the phone.
are you on a custom Rom ?

Mine doesnt load task manager - if im in apps and press the home button to exit out, more often than not im taken to "voice command" and the "what would you like to do?" comment leaping from my speaker. Mega annoying and no idea why!

raykau; (Since 'hold the button shorter' has already been suggested ) are you running any software to change the way your phone responds? I know a friend has software to reconfigure any buttons on his iPad & it stands to reason this would be available for android too. It could also be the button sticking, does it feel OK?

silentdark; I'm sure it sounds obvious, but the button is physical, not touch like the ones next to it, could you be clicking too softly as you're used to the touchscreen? If you only just push to the point of the button clicking, it could register as a double click. The other points for raykau also apply.

When ever inpress home it takes me to desk clock. How do i make it so when i press home it takes me to home??
