Help Home Key gesture opening Vlingo Voice Command

I am using Samsung Galaxy S2 (GT-I9100), Android version 2.3.5

Since I changed my launcher to the GO launcher, when I press the HOME key it takes me to the Galaxy Voice Talk application by Vlingo.

I changed the preferences on GO launcher so that the HOME key gesture take me to HOME SCREEN function, but 50% of the time when I press the home key, I got to Vlingo instead and my phone shouts 'what would you like to do?'

I already tried updating software of phone and GO launcher but doesn't work.

Also tried changing the HOME key gesture to take me to another function, but still it takes me to Vlingo 50% of the time.

Can this problem be solved?

Are you sure you're only pressing the home button once? Vlingo is supposed to open up when you double click the home button.

If you're definitely only pressing it once, it looks like your button is malfunctioning and registering a double click when you only click once (this is a common problem that pc mice develop).

If you're running ice cream sandwich you can uninstall Vlingo by going into the application tray, pressing and holding on an icon until they all start wiggling, and then click on the x button next to vlingo voice commands and it will be uninstalled.

Failing that, you may need to take your phone to a repair shop.
