Home, Menu, Back, Seach touch key lights

I've noticed that sometimes the backlighting on the touch keys don't always light up. They still work but occasionally theyll light up but other times they wont. Does anyone have the same problem or is that just my phone and I need to get it swapped?

Same thing here. I asked a while back about it but never heard. I guess if we both noticed it, that it can't be a defect. I would just like to know what turns them on and off. The time i noticed it i needed them to be lit up.

It is based upon the ambient light sensor.

Thanks man. I thought there was a hardware connection. I will keep an eye on this and see if it doesn't light up when its dark.
