Home screen app removal

I have inadvertently put a couple of apps on my home screen. How on earth do we get rid of it.:smokingsomb:

Ora, you should be able to just long press the icon for each and then when hi-lited, drag the icon to the trash can.

Thankyou, i did waht you recomended, but i can only slide the app off at the top, when i try on the sides it just bounces back.
But now i know.
Very happy with my phone and zero problems. Which makes me a bit boring.
When and if JB comes, i wonder if there will really be a major difference, or just cosmetic.
