Help Home screen buttons

I have a Tab2.7.1 and Tab2.10.1 and the buttons at the bottom of the screen are different.

On the 10.1 the buttons from the left are Return, Home then previous screens.

On the 7.1 the buttons from the left are Previous screens, Home then Return.

Is there a way to reorganise the 7.1 to be the same as the 10.1.

The reason is that with the return button on the right it's too easy to brush it accidentally and loose what you were doing, this isn't a problem with the 10.1

Interesting, I didn't know that. Maybe because it has the stupid phone UI instead of the tablet UI. The clock is too small for these old eyes. I don't know of a way to re-arrange the buttons.

I find myself accidentally launching Google search a lot by brushing upwards on the Home button. :)

as far as i know, the only way to change, reorient, remove, customize or disable the home screen 'virtual' buttons entirely is to use a custom ROM, and you will need to be rooted to do that :) in AOKP ROMs, there is a few settings in Dev Options or ROM Control that allows you to add/remove or change the size, transparency of the virtual keys, or remove the bar alltogether (better have physical keys!)
