Root Home screen is black after hard reset.... HELP!

HELP! I recently rooted my phone and deleted a few stock apps, all of which were on that list of apps that were okay to remove. I just did a hard rest and now when the phone turns on, it just sits at a black home screen. The only thing i can do it hold down search and search the web, seems like from deleting some widgets it messed things up. Any way i can install a new from or something like that?

Did you ever create a backup? If so boot into recovery and apply that backup. I renamed a lot of my apps. In my opinion renaming .apk to .bak is better incase you need to reinstall them for whatever reason.

My guess is that you deleted the back up assistance apk. I did this before and had the same issue.

I had to download the apk and hit the home key twice to do it through voice command.
