Home screen replacements for prevail

I'm trying to get everybody opinion on which they think its a home screen replacement ....I want to try out new ones. Currently I have

1) 91ihome
2) 91PandaHome 2
3) Android seven pro
4)Go launcher EX
5) Sony Ericsson home........The best one that I seen was SPB Shell 3d but it cost like 15 dollars but I want it badly though lol....If you know anymore that is cheaper than 15 dollars please post some

I'm using GO Launcher EX and having a ball with it . I also installed Go Dialer and Go sms last night . These are great apps. that have lots of options . As for the $15 ..... WHEW ! That's a lil steep .:eek:
 
I agree with Viet and Wet that $15 is priced out of the market. It is not THAT much better than the GO Launcher to justify that price. Android applications rarely command that price tag due to competition and the sheer number of awesome free apps.

I will say that SPD puts out some good stuff. I have not really heard much about them with Androids, probably because of price. But, I have used their shells and stuff on previous Windows Mobile Phones and for the time they were the best.

I watched a little of their video and it looks pretty slick. But, $15? No way.
 
I was surprised to when I saw that price tag...Well I'm gonna stick with go launcher for awhile....What kind of themes do ya'll recommend? And what is go dialer and go sms?

I really like the Black Glass Theme but there are quite a few free ones to choose from . Go sms and Go dialer are some other Go apps that let you jazz up the way your phone looks . I believe the Go dialer is actually listed as Go contacts . They're FREE so check them out . If ya don't like them , toss um . No $$ lost at all ! I hope this helped ya out a lil and trust me , these apps will keep ya busy trying out all the different options . :)
 
I use Go, but HeLauncher 2 is pretty cool.

I advise against the shell. It looks nice, but crashes pretty bad with phones superior to the prevail.
 
I use the black glass theme too for Go Launcher. I like the metal honeycomb wallpaper it has but sometimes I use a custom live wallpaper. I have several kinds but the top 3 like is one that has flames, a matrix one, and one with the android bot flying through a space jump worm hole thingamabobber :p and no that's not the real name of that live wallpaper.
 
Tried Adw... returened back to stock... tried Launcher Pro... returned back to stock....

Had Go Launcher Ex thrust upon me with ShabbyMod... I love it....

LOL !!! Just wanna let cha know that I actually Googled "android bot flying through a space jump worm hole thingamabobber" and your post in Android Forums came back as the first in the list of results . LOL , yeah I'm bored .:p
 
You guys got me using the Black Glass also. The icons are a little different in some cases it seems and possibly smaller to my old eyes. But it does look good.

Just using the stock Android boot animation from BAC for now. I also like the one of the Earth spinning. I had the android peeing on the Apple, but today is Sunday after all.

LOL !!!!! I was using the Android peeing on the apple the other day . Ahhh , great minds DO think alike ! :D

I Think SPD Shell Is The Best! Runs Smooth & The 3D Feature Is Pretty Cool... But Def Not For The Price! Currently Using ADW EX Launcher. Using Blue Gingerbread Theme! Looks & Runs Alot Smoother Than Go Launcher I Believe. Jus My Opinion. Lol...

Black glass is def. a good one .. though I kinda like the Neon Blue one too

I tend to love ANY launcher after a couple of days of using it: Stock, ADW, LP, GO, Zeam, back to GO. They all did the job. I am liking GO right now, but I do remember that ADW was good too. I only slightly missed some of the GO features with Zeam, but I am glad to have them back now.
