Home Screen when switching on ?

Hi all

Is there a way to choose whicg screen appears when switching the phone on (after screen power off)

At the moment it 'comes on' with page 7 rather than page number 1 (which has my main icons on)

My phone when unlocked goes to the same screen where it went into sleep mode / locked. This may be some app, a screen or home screen etc. Pressing home button will take you to that screen.

However if you want a particular screen to be set as a home screen, you can do that.

What version of ICS are you using? I don't have that feature.

You need to be rooted to change the default home screen.

To change it, navigate to /system and edit /buildprop and add the following line:
ro.csc.homescreen.defaultscreen=3

The number you enter is has to be one less than the homescreen you actually want as your default. In this example, it will actually be the 4th homescreen that is set as the default.
