home screen?

[ginghis]

What is the scree called when you first turn your phone on. The one that has the icons,
messaging
phone
contacts
browser
maps
and market?
This can be customized correct?
What are some apps, if you call them that, to use here?
where do you find them, and how to arrange/customize?
Can someone lead me to a tutoral?
Thanks

I use pandahome. There are several, but panda is free, and offers the features I wanted without going overboard with other crap. You can download it from the market. Not really sure about a tutorial for this though, might just have to play around with it to get what you want.

Here's the link to Motorola's guide
Also use the search function for the forum, and look through the 'how to' stuff at the top of the forum. There's a lot to learn, but that's the fun of it all.
I think that's what you are asking?
