When I swipe my unlock screen my phone is on my call screen. How do I change that?

Hello!
What device do you have? What Android version is it on?
Are you using the stock, or custom launcher? Does it matter which way you swipe to unlock?

Lollipop I guess. Are you maybe swiping the phone/dialer shortcut icon to open it?
