Help Home WiFi channel

I hope this is very easy.
Had my Atrix for ~3 weeks. Problem is there are frequent times when home wifi connection seems to die. WiFi Analyzer indicates Channel 11 (used on my network) is weak so I want to change the channel used on my network.
I know how to change the network on my Netgear router but not on the Atrix. Do I need to change the channel on the atrix, is it changed automatically, . . . How do I get it to another channel?

You can change your wifi routers channel then reconnect with phone. Phone doesn't care what channel you're broadcasting on. I would, however, do it this way:

1. open wifi connections on phone and 'forget' your home connection
2. change wifi router channel
3. re-select your home wifi network on phone and connect/login
