Just bought the Acer Iconia A500 Got it rooted Using a modified version of gingerbreak. If you're looking for a tablet this is a great tablet. 1 gig dual core processor that is fast as f***:D

Whats the price? Gigs?
12.5 internal and bought a 8 gig sd card. Has some similarity to cm 7. Man the surprising thing is the speed. Gaming is great on it. Most games you just tilt to steer. Was pricey though 450. Xda developers are hard at work on it. All i did was root it so far. Should be a update sometime this month to honeycomb 3.0.1 to 3.1 cant remove any of the battery hoggers until the update lol they have it set if you delete anything the update wont go through. Has a couple bugs the update will fix. The motorolla xoom has the same bugs and will update to 3.1 too.

Did you check out the Nook Color at all? I just picked up mine for $175. 512 MB RAM, 800 MHz single core OCed at 1.2 GHz, CM7, 1 GB for apps, 5 GB internal storage, and a 16 GB class 10 SDHC card. Lovin' it.

I was looking at the dual core xoom it was way too high. The Acer has everything the xoom had and about 200 cheaper. So I went with it.

True, when Acer first entered the market, I was surprised by their prices and didn't want to believe that their products could be on par with Dell or HP, but great review after great review kept me interested and about 5 years after I purchase my Dell Dimensions 8200, I changed allegiances and now, almost every PC or laptop I have is an Acer.
