Honeycomb 3.1 upgrade

My A500 came delivered with release 3.01 and whenever I check for the 3.1 upgrade it says system up to date.

My question is this. How does Acer determine which tablets to push the new code too ??

Anybody know ??

I wish I knew.
1st prompted me to update like 5 minutes after I turned it on

2nd one never got the update notice, although I didn't manually check for it in the 4hrs or so that I had it

3rd one also never got the update notice or maybe I did but since the screen wouldn't stay on I wouldn't have noticed.

4th one I got the update prompted maybe after about 6 hours of using it.

You could always root and manually install 3.1

I think they either draw straws or pull a numbered ball out of a big bin.
