Root Honeycomb Boot Screen

So I was looking around online and one of my favorite sites is down for maintenance. So I looked around for the honeycomb boot loader. I found this site: Honeycomb Boot Animation apk for android

Anyone tried this out?

I don't know about the apk sounds fishy to me but I'm using the honeycomb bootanimation.zip and it's pretty.

That site has the links for the bootanimation.zip. I'd cross post them, but that tends to make people angry. Eh, the animation is not that great. I'd still like Asadullah's...

Now a major problem is getting the Optimus M boot screen resolution. The desc has it at 480 800 30, I think there might be a better resolution.

Okay, I messed around with rulers, straight-edges, photoshop, and all sorts of nonsense. The resolution should be at 168width and 267height for Optimus M. But, when I set that all I get is a blank screen. How can I fix this?

here is the honeycomb bootanimation you can just flash it through recovery or pull it out and push it to /system/media. Make sure you have a modified boot.img or you'll still see the metro bootanimation as well as the honeycomb version.

For those using my roms just type the following

adb remount
adb push bootanimation.zip /system/media
