Honeycomb (Or Later) Apps List

Cozi Calander works and will fill in the full screen of the Gtab perfectly also widgets for it work (its a shared calander/to do list that will automatically sync between phones..my wife and i use it. She adds to her calander and minute later i have it on mine..i add to the grocery list and seconds later..she has the the list. Its a great way to merge/synch your calander, grocery list and to do list between family members).

glad i found this list because i wasted some time looking under Applications Forum. maybe this should be moved to there as a sticky or sub-forum?

anyway, here's my modest contribution:

games - 4 player reactor, alchemy-genetics (original alchemy probably will work too), 3d bowling, chalk ball, (glow hockey worked initially, but not now)
productivity - tabnotes, pen supremacy, convertor
LWP - thunderstorm
music, video - kid tv, ghosttown, ustream
browser - opera mobile, maxthon mobile for tablet

Hey all,

I released my first app for Android, specifically for Honeycomb 3.0+.

Calculations 3.0: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.spymek.calculations

Its a multi-function calculator app that has

  • Advanced Calculator
  • Unit Measurement Conversion (length, area, volume, weight, time, temp)
  • Mortgage Calculator
  • Currency Converter (Real-Time)

Would love to have it added to your awesome list (just downloaded Feedly on my Xoom -- sweet).

It's gotten over 500 downloads in its first week, hopefully the design and functionality are appealing to those who want more than the basic stock calculator. There is a pro version available too for $0.99 that eliminates the ads (https://market.android.com/details?id=com.spymek.calculations.pro).

Thanks! Wish everyone the best!

I haven't added to this for a while, but their are a couple more apps that I think are excellent:

SketchbookX Express by AutoDesk is a fantastic art/design app ... I was blown away with how easy it was to use. Very comprehensive too.

Dual Battery Widget - perfect for my Transformer. Shows battery levels for both Tab and Dock. Must have app for Transformer owners.

Wi-Fi Anyalyzer - had this on my phone for ages, but it works really well on my Tablet too. I used it yesterday to work out why my Transformer wouldn't connect properly to my local AP at work ... it was on ch13 ... and my Tab doesn't like ch13 (documented elsewhere on web). Works brilliantly now with a tweaked AP. Anyway, very useful and comprehensive.

Cheers

Pete

Very nice list! Would you think most of these are optimized for tablets? Since tablets are what is mostly running 3.0 at the moment?

Some more to add,

Pure Messenger ( all in one for sms, email, facebook, etc.)
Pure Music
Pure Grid (an excellent front end to the stock calender)
Pure News (best news reader I have used)
Extended Controls (toggle wifi, bt, gps, screen lock, shutdown, reboot, etc.)
Overlook Fing ( displays every system on the network you are connected to, shows IPs, MAC addy, port scanning, etc.)
Wifi Analyzer (worthy of a second mention)
ConnectBot (terminal, ssh, etc.)

Just curious if people still need this thread updating, it's been a while but more and more apps are suitable for HC or ICS now, I haven't bothered updating recently!

If there's enough need I can go through and update further...
