Do you think Honeycomb will run well on the Nook Color?

I think it will be a bit laggy to be honest. I believe the tablets using Honeycomb will be dual core.

There was at least one tablet at CES that was running a plain old Snapdragon CPU on a 7 inch screen. I think the Nook Color should be able to handle Android 3.0 with some optimizations for a non dual core experience.

There will be plenty of people on the job to make that happen. I am really sure of that.

Anything is possible with dev support.. But I'm still waiting for a stable froyo Rom so honeycomb isn't even on my mind yet.

Yeah I agree, we probably won't see it until the Nook Color 2 is out. Then the devs will port that to the nook color 1.

Totally agree, dude. I'd be happy with 2.2.

2.2 (nookie froyo) is pretty stable if you dd it to the emmc of the nook color. I have been running it for a few days and its very stable and very usable. Much Much better than the bootable sdcard version. Check out xda for info on how to do it

I see it as proof of concept more than anything right now. It shows a lot of promise for sure.
