Root Hopefully got this right

OK, if you have a standard memory table you have 148 MB of internal storage, which would imply you've used 135MB internal plus 153MB of ext, and that ratio isn't right.

Did the phone reboot when you typed those commands? It might be worth trying "a2sd reinstall" (run "su" first, or it won't work). If it doesn't improve, "a2sd check" might give some clues.
 
Or, simpler, do you have anything that sets the default install location (either an app or setting - I don't know Miui settings I'm afraid)? If so, check it is set to "phone" rather than "sd" or even "automatic".
