horizontal keyboard not typing

when i turn my phone horizontally the keyboard comes up with no problem, then when i begin to type on it the letters/words do not show up until i turn it back vertically and then i am able to read what i wrote. any ideas why this might be happening...or how to fix it? its a new phone i just got for christmas, and the horizontal keyboard only stopped working a few days ago.

I would just take it back.

i had the same thing happen to me ... i just did a soft reset and it was back to normal and havent had the problem since. jw-do you use handcent? i do and i thought that might have been the culprit but since i haven't had the problem since i never thought about it too much

soft reset set it back to normal! thanks for that...and no i dont have handcent so i'm not sure where the problem started
