change skin to slate > go to gallery > select any photo >edit photos by tapping on the photo > select effects > there u can see 2 options "save" and "cancel" with out any lines on it.. when i select different effects > i can see horizontal lines on save and cancel button..

Is there any other instance where you can get the lines to appear? Or just via the method above? You could have a faulty screen.

not always ... with the above mentioned skin i get a thick horizontal lines, with black board skin i get thin lines .with htc skin i get differnt thinckness lines, but whn i rotate the image ( that is from portrait to landscape and back to portrait ) the lines disappear.. is there any application to know if the screen is faulty ?

That is the only time you see those lines? Do they appear when you watch a video or anything like that?
Having inspected my handset under the same conditions, there is a colour gradient on the Save and Cancel buttons. From your pics, mine isn't as pronounced as yours, but it is there. Do you have a better camera to take pics with?
I wouldn't worry though. If that's the only time you see those lines, I doubt there's a problem. If they become worse or you'd rather be on the safe side, take it back to the shop to have them look at it.

ya only time i see that.. that does not appear when i watch video.. if i keep the SKIN AS blackboard or htc , the line are very thin.. but with the slate skin i get the one i showed in that pic.. i'm not able to get a better pic for the same bro
