Help Hot Temp,Deletes Contacts, Reboots on its own

Lurker
I bought a Galaxy S2 a month ago and ever since I had, it gave me alot of problems. I know I could have simply replaced it however I did not have the time and opportunity to do so. Let me start of with:

1. When on stand-by it freezes and when you touch the screen to unlock it, it reboots on its own.
2. Reboots on its own sometimes about 4 times continuously. In a day, I counted about 7 times.
3. When on stand-by, you will just notice that the phone is already turned off. When you turn it back on, it resets to its original setting, deletes all contacts, removes any wall papers etc.
4. Entire phone heats up. As in hard to touch the phone because it is very hot, this happens when it's charging--you will find out that it did not even charge at all--this also happens anytime of the day. I had to remove the battery and leave it off for a couple of minutes before it turns on again.

Before I had issues with multiple force close errors but I think the hard restart fixed it a bit. I really need your help. I am really sad..This is not even a cheap phone.

I suppose you have 2 options.
If it does all that consistently enough to be able to stick the phone in front of whoever you bought it off get then to sort it out. If not try a firmware update.

I haven't heard of the phone having random reboots and deleting information that way. I suggest you bring it back to your retailer and get a replacement. You shouldn't be relying on firmware update to solve problems. It should work like a phone without it.

Its well and truly knackered mate, stop wasting time on here and get it sent back and replaced. You should be enjoying your phone not cursing it :(
