Yeah I would be interested too. At the moment I get the same response.
For those that are interested the article announcing the changes is here, but note that it's not compatible with 2.1 (or apparently 2.2 at the moment for that matter

I am also interested in getting this working. Hotmail have been harping on about this new upgrade for months now and not all of its ready yet, pull your socks up MS.
Also would just prefer a hotmail app, but am guessing MS aren't doing it as Google are their biggest rival.
