I have my hotmail setup fine, I'm able to send and recieve messages. However, when I delete or open an email on my phone it is still on the hotmail server. I see the option in settings for "Sync deleted items from server" to remove message on the phone that aren't on the server. Is there an option that will delete messages on the server that I delete on the phone?

are you using the stock email app? I havent played with that one much but dont think i have noticed an option for that. I use K-9 which does that that delete from server feature. if you do try K-9 this is how you do it. with the email account open listing the emails tap menu-more-sttings-account settings-fetching mail-when i delete a message- (options are do not delete from server, delete from server or mark as read on server).

you can does this for any account you list in k-9.

If you do go with a 3rd party app like k-9 make sure you turn off the notifications in the stock email app otherwise you will get double notifications. Menu- more- settings - notifications - uncheck the boxes

I am using the stock email app that came on the phone. I was hoping not to have to download another email app. Hotmail worked fine on my old Blackberry Storm so I don't know what the problem is with it.
