Help Hotmail Issue

I have a couple of emails listed in my hotmail account on the stock email app. When I select them it crashes the program.I don't think the email exists although it's on the list. I've tried to delete them from the main email list - selecting delete but they aren't on the list.

I thought I could clear the cahce and redownload the emails but I can't see any way the clear the cache without losing all my settings.

Can anyone help?
