Help Hotmail sync issue???

I got my new Dinc2 and am loving it. I am new to Android and smartphones in general.

I think I am having an issue with my Hotmail account. When new mail comes in I get the regular notification and all seems well. The problem comes up when I go to my PC to read my email. I know that I can read the email on the phone but with my eyes it is easier on my PC. I will delete or file the email into their folders and when I go back to the phone hours later it still shows the email that I deleted or filed away still in my inbox. I am using the default mail app that comes with the phone. I have opened up the menu and tried to sync it back up and it does not seem to have any affect even though it shows that it is syncing.

Is this the way it is supposed to work or do I have a problem? Any help would be appreciated.

I also had this problem before/after the GB update. It seems to be a common issue. I just deleted the hotmail account from my phone.

Some people recommend using a different email program other than stock, such as K-9 Mail, but I haven't had a chance to try that yet.

Thanks for the info. I have tried several email apps and they all seem to do the same. Since I am new to this, I will play around with it for awhile and see if I can figure out what is going on. Thanks again.
