Root hotspot for droid charge

OK, I have been dipping my hand into the pool recently and I have a question.

I am running Gummy Charge 1.8 and hotpot still requires a subscription from verizon. I know with the droid it was not required to have hotspots and was wondering if there is a way to do this on the charge.

Correct, though it's against Verizon's TOU.

android-wifi-tether - Wireless Tether for Root Users - Google Project Hosting Try that one. Works fine for me on the GB leak.

Barnacle wifi tether is another one that is free, works pretty good too. All the the wifi tether apps are ad-hoc only though, which will work with almost every computer/xbox 360. idk about tablets but I don't see why it wouldnt.
