Help hotspot help

Why can't I do the hotspot on my wildfire.. it runs 2.2... I thought you could on this or I'm I missing something. No app for turning it on and nothing in settings about tethering. Help

Erm i dont have a HTC sense ROM so im saying this from memory

Shouldnt there be like a shortcut to tethering when you open the app drawer, try to configure it so you dont have to use a password to connect, i had a similar problem before and what im telling you worked for me
If it works then you can try to add your password

There. Is no shortcut to it or anything... What about Ian tethering? I see where I can do that but don't seem to work. Do i need some kind of drivers on my laptop or something like that? Could some one explain this to me?

Ok do you have the manual?
If you dont have a physical copy then there should be a pdf copy on your SD card which was installed when you activated your device

No you do not have to be rooted to use tethering, if you can attach a picture of your entire app drawer

If you dont have a camera use this guide here, its kinda long to set up but straightforward
