Is there a way to adjust the WiFi power on the Desire Z when in hotspot mode?
I recently bought an iPad (WiFi-only). Since it's such a joy to browse the web on the iPad, I use the Desire Z as a hotspot. I have an unlimited data plan on the phone and the only thing that's actually limited in my case is the Desire Z's battery runtime. Is there a utility to reduce the WiFi transmit power on the Desire Z to conserve power? The phone and iPad are at most just a couple of feet from each other. Probably even at the lowest setting, they'd still be able to talk to each other.
