How bad is the orange branding on this phone?

Interested in upgrading to this phone... but how bad is the orange branding. Orange really went to town on the old Desire, with so much bloatware it nearly ruined the experience. Is it the same on the SGS2?

In particular:

Are there any uninstallable apps?
Is there any branding on the case?
Is there a splash screen on start-up?

Why not upgrade via CPW if you can, as there phones are unlocked and free of all network branded crap Mobile Phone Upgrade | Carphone Warehouse
