How big is yours?

So how big is the storage on your phone? I realize bigger is better. I am still using the default SD card in my phone and I still have plenty of room. If you got a bigger SD card what made you decide to get it? What would inspire me, and other users, to get a bigger card?

Thanks,
Norman

i have 8gig and i think its more than I ever use. I have some music on it but thats about. the price was right, thats the only reason i went with 8 over something smaller

I have a 2 GIG right now that's chock full of music, my music folder on my computer is almost 30 Gigs so you can imagine what a hassle it is trying to pick 2G's worth of songs. I really want an 8 gig, i just don't have the extra 20 bucks to buy one at the moment... I feel like with 8 gigs i can put all the music i want on it and be happy.

I have 16GB Class 6 on mine. Shows as 14.96GB according to the display on the phone.

I use it mostly for MP3 music. I will be loading some more.

7.72GB Free

I have an 8 gig, with about 6 gig free. 2 gig just isn't enough for me as I keep schematics, tech manuals and other assorted job-related stuff on my phone. I'll probably get a 16 once the price drops spme more.

Really don't think battery life isn't to bad for all i do. Instead radio or craigslist or tower raider. But I plug it in every chance I get jist because I can. Lol

16G class 2. 9.26G in music (2500 tunes). 400M in offline maps. 520M in 2 nandroid backups. Counting all the other odds & ends (Titanium Backup, etc), 10.26G total space used.

@dominicanyor, the number of songs on my phone appears to have no bearing at all on battery life, when I'm not actually listening to tunes. When I am listening to music, battery life is actually quite impressive. Even when I'm using GPS (Maverick) to record my mountain bike tracks, and jammin' to tunes the whole time, I'll burn through one bar of battery on a two-hour ride.

It sounds like songs take up most of the room on most peoples Hero. I would have thought apps might have taken up more space. I too would like to move to a bigger card but the cost is the only thing holding me back. I have been hoping that the prices would go down (NOT). Oh well.

I've got the stock one in, but as soon as my new card comes I'll be up to an 8GB class 6, which should help out a bit and let me actually use Apps2SD efficiently
