Hey guys, I was curious if there was a way to access messages from the lockscreen like when I had the phone in standard mode. I have Basix, and ES if that makes a difference.

Root How can I access texts from the lockscreen?

Use a lockscreen that offers that functionality.
The AOSP lockscreen, or the rotary one should do.
Just *don't use the 4tab lockscreen*.EVER.
You can access them by going to home-> settings-> lockscreen settings
Alternatively, you can use a replacement locker app such as go locker, magic locker or widgetlocker. (widgetlocker is a paid app though)
