Root how can i change out my charger using warranty? (im rooted)

Do you think they would make me bring it in? i was thinking just bring the charger + the box. but will they make me bring the device itself? and if i do will they replace charger if they know im rooted? maybe ill just bring it in dead but they might "test it" lol. vie also heard that if i have even just a defective charger they will replace the entire package, device and all.

Has anybody done this before?

I'd first try making a call to support to see if they'll send you a new charger.

If you MUST take it to the store, make a backup of your current setup and then flash the stock ROM. That way it will LOOK like it's stock, but you don't have to reroot when you get it back home, just restore your backup.
