Root How can i get rid of (twrp) or root

I dont know any of this but i bought my phone couple of days ago and today my friend told me theres a chance that my phone was rooted. but i never did it, i dont know what wrong

We could potentially remove root and twrp, but we'd need to know which version of the M8 you have as the software differs by carrier.

OP definitely has TWRP installed, posted in the M8 forum about getting stuck in TWRP. EarlyMon (who else) got that sorted. Maybe best if this got moved over to the M8 ALT sub-f?

Generally speaking, the best way of returning a HTC device back to stock is by running something called an RUU. But the RUU's differ by region/network.

Is that what you want? An unrooted device with no trace of TWRP?
