Help How can I keep my home/navigation keys backlit?

I've searched for an answer to this but so far nada so I'm asking. Is there a way to manage or keep the home keys lit while the screen is on? On my new captivate the turn off very quickly. They do light up after I've pressed one but I'd like to be able to hit the key first off.

The reason you haven't found the answer is because there isn't a way to do this. Rest-assured that if someone finds/makes a way, it'll be all over the place... including the Captivate FAQ.

How long is samsung going to let this go on. Its sloppy as hell. Almost a deal breaker as far as I'm concerned. they've sold enough of these phones to FIX these glaring problems.
