Help How Can I Stop Screen Turning Off During Call

Just posted an app called "Screen On Call"

Try it. It keeps screen on during call with floating button or notification, which you can use to control if you want to keep screen ON or timeout.

Recalibrate your proximity sensor. None of the apps work. Go to about phone in settings and click Kernel version multiple times.

I needed a solution for that for automated scripts purposes! so the below wont fit the normal common usage issue with that annoying bug\feature :)

FOUND A SOLUTION ! (for script usage)

If you want the phone screen to not turn off during call, just plug headphone to it. confirmed on Galaxy s6 and Note5 both Android 6.0.1 (got that tip from Samsung engineers)

Hey, ok so this is first time I've been really annoyed at my phone. I am trying to just hang up on someone and I can't get the screen to turn on I'm pressing every button and it flashes for a second then off.

How can I just keep the screen on during a call?
Issue for me began with Android update that messed up the proximity sensor. Tried a bunch of apps with no success, then found this simple workaround: when dialing number, add a "Pause" (symbolized with a comma ',') and the phone will display the screen. Changed all my contacts when I found that. Doesn't make a difference for incoming calls, but solves the issue for outgoing calls at least and makes it possible to phone in to a service where options must be selected (i.e. 'Press 1 for X, press 2 for Y...')
