Is there a separate meter to tell what is left in the dock verse the transformer? the percentage doesnt seem to change when putting it on the dock and taking it off.

I haven't been able to find a separate battery level for the dock either. It appears to me that Asus couldn't come up with a way to do that. My dock could be at 5% while my tablet shows 100% as the dock always charges the tablet. It would be helpful to know the dock's level when traveling.

Unfortunately, I think the only indicator of dock battery life is the light on the side near the charging port. The pamphlet that came with the dock decodes its meanings. It isn't a whole lot to go by though.

apparently Asus are working on a batter meter for the dock, there was a rumor that it would be in 3.1, but obviously it wasnt completed in time.

it really needs one.

I thought last night I saw something that could have been this...

My notification icon for the battery level was hollow - missing pixels from its interior. Thought that would be a cool way to show the battery level for the dock...

Unfortunately, it was not steady (different pixels were missing over time, randomly), and when I then undocked, they were still not filling in all the time.
Anyone else notice something like this? No other issues with pixels around it, and all the pixels on the edge of the icon were intact...
(nevermind - it was the wifi icon that was missing pixels, NOT the battery icon. Need t get to bed earlier tonight!)

I downloaded the widget from the link and installed it. Odd thing is, it doesn't show up anywhere on the TF. Shouldn't it be with the other widgets under the + sign on the home screen? Any help would be appreciated.

Try using the web version of the Market to install it. That's how I got it to work.

Pretty sweet seeing both battery percentages now.

I did use the market version. After I rebooted the widget appeared. I hope others don't have the same problem. Thanks for the help.

If you had read the install notes in the marketplace you would had seen the note to restart after install.
