How about syncing them through Google contacts? You don't even need a gmail account/address. I use several of Google's services (Calendar, Contacts, Docs, etc...) and just log in using my name@company.com email address.

Then they would not only be available to you on your PC, but also on any other PC you use, and you will also have a backup "in the cloud." If your phone ever dies, or is lost, or even if you just get a different phone, you just sync up your contacts again. Easy as pie.
