How come devs dont make an imovie app?

I'm sure this would be a huge success.I guesss the idea of a great app is unattractive? does android os somehow make this hard to make? If not, why hasn't something like this been made?

Afaik iMovie is an application for OSX, i.o.w. for desktop and laptop Macs. Not for iPhones, iTouches, or iPads.

No it is an awesome app for iOS now as well. I hope something comes along for Android. I would love it. Imagine making a whole film on your phone, with decent transitions, effects, and soundtrack? I like using my phone for making art and this would be really great.

So for anyone wondering at the utility for this, I could see recording a presentation, inserting pictures you could make in another app, text or whatever, and be able to show it all happening on your phone. For bloggers or for business and especially for art, this is now a near deal-maker on my next phone. If Android doesn't have something very similar when I want to upgrade I may actually jump ship. I like Android well enough but I want this app a lot.

Sounds great. I don't need it so bad that I will jump ship but dammit devs. Make this! What developer doesn't want to make a successful in demand application?

Probably the same reason that any undeveloped app is undeveloped. Apps don't create themselves. Development resources are finite.

Theres an app for pretty much everything.. But not one single movie editing app. There are plenty of resources for bad apps I guess. Seen plenty in le market

EDIT: I discovered an app that allows you to cut videos. But only cutting. Its a start... I guess.
